The Women’s & Children’s Hospital (WCH) Foundation is the charity for the Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, South Australia. The Women’s & Children’s Hospital is South Australia’s main provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions, and the state’s largest maternity and obstetrics service.
The WCH Foundation is dedicated to working with the South Australian community to support the hospital and to achieve positive long term health outcomes for women and children, through purchasing vital equipment, funding life-saving research, and initiating health promotion programs.
The Women’s & Children’s Hospital is an academic teaching hospital and the site for an impressive range of research programs. The Foundation supports more than 200 researchers who continue to achieve remarkable breakthroughs into the diagnosis and treatment of serious childhood illness.
