Exciting project for CHFA sees new artistic collaboration
When Santo Alessi from Unique Ceramics contacted us with his idea on producing a collectable plate, he (and CHFA) had no idea the idea would become this big! Talented emerging artist Melinda Ransom’s artwork will be featured on a series of plates, with the first one on sale now for Mother’s Day (and beyond!) with all proceeds of the sale to be donated to CHFA.
Entitled “My Heart is Yours” the piece features two characters passing a heart between them. The plate is a limited edition, with each piece individually numbered by hand in gold. The plates are $49.50 (plus postage and handling) and are available from www.tradingpost.com.au and if you are in Victoria, the plates are available until Mother’s Day from Bay Road Nursery, 112 Bay Road, Sandringham (03 9521 0197).
