Cruise for Charity 8
Now in it's eigth year, Street Commodores ran their national charity fundraiser "Cruise for Charity 8" between August and October 2011.
As with the previous year, the event promised to smash records.
In 2010, 4500 cars participated in the charity event around the country, raising an outstanding $115,000.
2011 was equally as successful!
Olives for Kids
During September, Sandhurst Fine Foods conducted their 2nd annual fundraising activity by donating 10cents for evey jar of Sandhurst Olives sold in supermarkets around the country during the month of September 2011.
In 2010, the campaign raised $20,000. The 2011 campaign target was increased to raise $30,000 for Children's Hospital Foundations Australia.
Preview Screening
Children's Hospital Foundations Australia received a much needed boost thanks to the generosity of Amalgamated Holdings Limited who conducted their fundraiser event by providing an exclusive charity preview screening of Disney's The Lion King 3D.
Preview screenings were held at selected Event Cinemas, Greater Union and Birch Carroll & Coyle Cinemas around Australia on Sunday 18 September, 2011.
