What you can do as a company
Involvement with an organisation such as Children’s Hospital Foundations Australia is
- Good for your company;
- Good for your staff; and
- Good for our community!
Companies today face a tough competitive environment. Coupled with a growing expectation from consumers that they should demonstrate corporate social responsibility, companies can benefit by partnering with a credible and high profile charity to enhance their market position.
Aligning with the right cause is not only a reflection of corporate values, it also provides strategic benefits to differentiate an organisation from competitors.
There is little doubt that corporations that demonstrate social responsibility improve their reputation in addition to motivating and retaining their employees.

Australian companies can help little lives shine in one of four ways:
Profits with a Purpose - Cause-Related Marketing Projects
Cause-Related Marketing (CRM) is a powerful positioning and marketing tool linking a company to Children’s Hospital Foundations Australia in a corporate partnership for mutual benefit. Usually a CRM activity will see a business donate a percentage of sales to Children’s Hospital Foundations Australia over a specified time period. A cause-related marketing project demonstrates corporate social responsibility to consumers while really making a difference to the lives of our sick children.
Research consistently indicates that the top three causes consumers would most like to see Australian companies support are medial research, health and medical care for children and child protection. All three areas are encompassed by Children’s Hospital Foundations Australia.

Workplace Giving Programs
The importance of staff morale and a sense of team can’t be underestimated in the success of a business. Workplace (or payroll) giving is one way that staff can benefit from the opportunity to support a cause they believe in with a convenient form of giving. Employees can benefit by giving “pre-tax” each pay period, receiving an immediate tax deduction.
Children’s Hospital Foundations Australia can work with your company to set up a workplace giving process to meet your workplace needs – and give your staff the chance to help little lives shine.

Investing In Hope – Dividend Donation Program
Each year, millions of dollars worth of unwanted dividend cheques remain uncashed – imagine what Australia’s children’s hospitals could do with that money!
The Children’s Hospital Foundations Australia Investing in Hope initiative provides shareholders with the opportunity to tax-effectively donate all or part of their dividend payments to paediatric research. Investing in Hope has positive results for the shareholder, the company and our children. The decision to donate is left entirely to the shareholder and the program is administered by the share registry.
